Kovacs was a pioneer of TV comedy in the 1950's, edging closer, I think, to performance art than what people typically think of as comedy. Even with Percy Dovetonsils the comedy is odd, low key, and character generated, even though there is a poetic punch line toward the end.

Our own complete idiot, Harvey Ghoulash, now claims that he is the "real" Ghoulardi - famous Cleveland horror movie host of the 1960's. Along the way he accidentally promotes the 2008 Ghoulardifest (www.theghoulardifes t.com).

Here is a "trailer" containing bits of video from my contribution, with credits, etc. The full video will contain a small "lab" with the potato being teleported. Contestants included the young comedy act Richard and Shawn, young Tommy from Cleveland rapidly reciting the names of the states in alphabetical order, and some clowning around by "Frenchie."
