I traveled to my homestate of Michigan this past summer to learn about baking bread, thanks to my Momofuku scholarship. I divided my time between Zingerman's Bakehouse in Ann Arbor, MI and Avalon International Breads in downtown Detroit. Also included: a special side trip up to Petoskey, MI to tour the American Spoon production kitchen and cafe!
