The promo video for the Sikth song 'Scent of the Obscene'. We didn't make this video per se, we provided the super 8 footage. The majority shows Mike and Tim dressed in boiler suits with angel wings. It was shot by Dexter and was initially used as a template for his Azazello series of oil paintings.
A trailer for the forthcoming Earache DVD release Hate Eternal "The Perilous Fight".
Featuring a live video and interview produced by Muckspreader Productions and three other promo videos and other extra features.
SSS Live at the Liverpool Barfly. This is the infamous 'pigs head' performance from the show with Municipal Waste and Evile back on August 7th. This was edited by Will Sansom.
The promo video for Comrades in Tears by the London based instrumentalist group Capricorns. Shot entirely on super 8 time lapse, the video delves in the dreamscape of a young virgin bursting with curiosity.
An alternative edit of the 'Peepshow' video for Sikth. The original edit was rejected and so a new version was cut incorporating lots of archive super 8 footage. Annoyingly this version was rejected too!
My Ruin Live Video from the Mean Fiddler show on Jan 18th 2006.
The crew for this one was: Tim Darach, Anna Li, Mike Ward and Paulie Cocadiz - cameras. Dan Roberts - Live Sound, Editor - Paulie Cocadiz, Director etc - Mike Ward.
The promo video for the song "Answer to Everyone" by Murder One. Featuring Paul Catten and Johnny Morrow on vocals, Jim Palmer and Mark Seddon on Guitar, Jammer on drums and Jon on bass. This was the second video we made back in May 2002. It was also the first to be aired on TV.
The original video for Peepshow shot entirely on super 8. This version was eventually rejected by the band and record label, but is an intreguing short film.
A live performance of the song 'Onscreen Rapist' by Murder One. This was the first ever multicamera live shoot we did (and it shows!) We were miles from the stage using two tiny cameras. We used the sound from the mixing desk and Dave had a broken arm so had to use a tripod. It was edited using a vision mixer and cut live, hence the cheezy disolves.
The Act of Sorrow video for Mendeed was originally a concept video with a nightmare sequence involving a girl on a bed. This was abandoned during the edit as the footage did not work well with the shots of the band. Here is the partial edit for your interest. Video trivia: The girl featured in the video is Anna Naberrie, bass player with up and coming band The Tommys.
The promo video for The Dukes of Nothing song 'War and Wine' from the Eccentric Man album of the same name. This was the first video we made, back in 2002.
The promo video for the song 'The Day My Eyes Bled' by Paul Catten. It concerns the September 11th attack and the resulting effect on the media in the hours after the incident. Watch out for paul dressed at a news reporter stood in front of a skyscraper.
The promo video for the Keelhaul song 'Cruel Shoes'. This was shot in a rehersal room in Walthamstow in London straight after their London show at the Camden Underworld.
