I grabbed my old chicago ensoniq CD sample collection from 1993, picked a few guitar samples that Dawayne played for the collection. Dropped in Ableton, tweaked and this is what I got.
POD HD Marshall J-800 & X3 A/B test. First is both amps, 2nd is only the X3, then the HD, then both again.
It is clear that the X3 is weak and lacks body. But I thinki I stumbled upon a rad little sound mixing the two together.
I put all the knobs at 5 (the middle) and the main vol at 10 (100%) using a tom anderson on the bridge pick up
Just a little video on how i get that volume swell Mike Landau sound on the POD HD Desktop. Nothing too crazy, I pulled this stock setting up and adding 3 FX... Tri Chorus and 2 different delay's

I found out that Get Back was playing at the college right by my house (Point Loma Nazarene College) so i went up to check out their set and caught up with Steven and Kevin. We got on about the Silent Comedy guys and this is what the two of them had to say.
This is just a lil sample clip of the randomness from the 2010 Sunset Strip Music Festival. Neon Trees were so cool to stop by and talk to me for a little bit, they are super RAD.
