Pianist: Yundi Li plays Liszt's piano reduction of Verdi's "Rigoletto" Opera Fantasy, an Oriental piece by composer Wang titled "Sunflower" and finally another Liszt, the 3rd Etude based on a variation of a theme of Paganini, "La Campanella" in B minor S. 141.
Composed 1838, revised 1851. Liszt was 27 when he composed this piece.
Pianist: Marc-Andre Hamelin playing Liszt's 2nd Hugarian Rhapsody in C-sharp minor, S. 244. a.k.a "the bugs bunny/tom & jerry song," with original Cadenza. Incredible interpretation.
Pianist Yun-Yang Lee playing the 3rd movement of Edward Grieg's Piano Concerto in A-minor, Op. 16 No. 1. Great interpretation.
Unfortunately, I don't have the name of the orchestra or the conductor. If you have that info, and care to share, please do :)

This is Vladimir Horowitz playing his Variation on a Theme of Bizet's opera "Carmen." This is, of course, from the 1968 CBS special taken at the one and only Carnegie Hall.
I recently ran into all of the Horowitz transcriptions and the direct link to this one is:

enjoy!
This is Massimiliano Ferrati playing Chopin's 1st Ballade in G-minor. This performance is kind of weak, in my humble opinion. It lacks the Gusto, the .. UMPH that other performances have had.
(to youtube: thru purchase of the video, this is not copyright infringement.)
The genius is at it again! Here, Borge plays -some- of the Tchaikovsky concerto No. 1 with a few extra goodies added in. This video always makes me smile.
pianist izumi tateno playing alexander scriabin's nocturne for the left hand in d-flat major, op. 9 no. 2
fact: scriabin composed for the left hand after becoming paralyzed on the right side by syphilis.
