Yes, this was broadcast on New Year's Eve 1979 and this is what the BBC were offering you to stay at home with on New Year's Day. Hi-De-Hi, Little and Large, Barry Norman. It's a wonder why it wasn't a ratings record.
Unsurprisingly, many didn't bother and went to the pub instead. Hopefully not to watch Little and Large.
