One of my favourite scenes in The Fountainhead displaying the disconnect between Ayn Rand's hard line belief in individuality and the collectivist ideal of design by committee. The ironic aspect of this speech is that film is a very collectivist (or at least collaborative) art form compared to writing.

From the 1949 film '"The Fountainhead" based on the novel of the same name by Ayn Rand. Gary Cooper plays Howard Roark as he defends his dynamiting of Cortlandt. Ayn Rand wrote the screenplay herself for the film, so novel purists need not worry.

This is for Amanda, Aoife and Jagruti. Amanda falsely claims that my version of this song is better than the versions by Mark Morriss or the Bluetones. They are legends and their versions are clearly superior, but I wanted to pay tribute to this amazing song and wish the May Street girls all the happiest of birthdays

Pakistani Adaptation for the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. "Teesra Kinara" was recorded from cable TV (in England?)about 15 years ago. Note that it was pirated, i.e., the production company in Pakistan did not get permission to make the adaptation.
