Strider is one of my all time favourite games. The Sega Megadrive/ Genesis was blessed with the finest home conversion of the game. I have enve played this on Spectrum and Amiga before I played this version. Nothing beats the original, and regretfully, one of my biggest "dreams" never happened, Strider on the Super Nintendo. Still, amazing game from Capcom, if you consider it was 1989.

Played by Neofix in 7:24 and encoded and presented by SpeedRuns.net. This is a tool-assisted speedrun. One of the most classic Sega series was Strider with a pretty famous game for Master System. This is the Genesis version with way better graphics.

Recorded with ZD Game Recorder and WinX68k.
My first but short Sharp X68k video. Now THIS is the ideal conversion of the arcade game! I want to do a full playthrough on this, but the stupid error screen in Japanese (as seen at the end of this video) is preventing me from doing so. I guess Sharp X68k is a very fickle system.
