A Triceratops bone fragment (Hell Creek Fm, MT-- the gray object) emitting alpha particles in a cloud chamber. The alpha particles, visible as streaks and wisps, are released by nuclides in the uranium and thorium decay series. The cloud chamber is a 10 gallon glass aquarium resting on a block of dry ice with a cloth soaked in isopropanol on top.

3/28/2011, Wisconsin State Capitol. A protester was arrested for, allegedly, using a swear word after having received a previous warning from an officer not to use the word. We don't know what the word was, and go to Capitol Police HQ to try to find out which words are banned.
