A Triceratops bone fragment (Hell Creek Fm, MT-- the gray object) emitting alpha particles in a cloud chamber. The alpha particles, visible as streaks and wisps, are released by nuclides in the uranium and thorium decay series. The cloud chamber is a 10 gallon glass aquarium resting on a block of dry ice with a cloth soaked in isopropanol on top.
Firefighters Local 311 Pies and Drums and Madison Pipes and Drums perform Wearing of the Green and the Minstrel Boy. The tune of "Wearing of the Green" is by O'Carolan and also is used in "By the Rising of the Moon."
3/28/2011, Wisconsin State Capitol. A protester was arrested for, allegedly, using a swear word after having received a previous warning from an officer not to use the word. We don't know what the word was, and go to Capitol Police HQ to try to find out which words are banned.
