The song is sung in Sudanese Arabic and Ethiopian language (Amharic maybe), it's about a guy who fell in love with a girl called Zanoba from the Nouba Mountains. The song is somewhat romantic and very descriptive and the Ethiopian band sure presented it with a whole new perspective, ehm ehm ...specially with the interesting outfits.
This was recorded in Sudan. To listen to the original song by Nada Elgal3a follow this link http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=qx22_3Dcu tA OR this link http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=Ozq-9AVRu 4o
This song is sung by a Northern Sudanese group and it describes the beauty of Juba, the capitol of Southern Sudan, it also calls for peace and a united Sudan.
The crash happened in the late nineties. Pay attention to how the eye witnesses describe the crash, the Southern Sudanese lady seem pretty excited and bubbly in her interview.
This is another Sudanese romantic song....must admit that it's a lil awkward listening to the song being sung in such a heavy arabic accent...but I also should admit that the beautiful Sudanese song and lyrics combined with the Ethiopian artistic performance makes a great combination. Seems like a lot of Ethiopian bands are into Sudanese music.
You know what guys...there is a very fine line between funny and idiot....although the clip is funny but I think this dude got pretty close to being an idiot.
