These were the top 100 club tunes of all-time as voted by top DJs and readers of DJ Magazine in 1998. A good list of tunes that crosses all dance genres. A great issue I cut up to make these scans! Hope you like it.
The video is something different just to show you a glimpse of ruffbizness vinyl ripping area... I didn't choose the track for any particular reason. The video camera was sitting there and I thought I'd do something other than the usual. The audio is still line-in high quality as usual. Cheers...
Respect to Red Alert, the legend. Tracks are DJ Premier from Gang Starr - Red Alert Chant, Jungle Brothers - J. Beez Comin Through and Poor Righteous Teachers - Rock this Funky Joint all mixed up like only Red Alert can do it. This is from a CD rip on Next Plateau records.
A couple of videos I made messing around on the drums. The first part is the Amen break and some other break beats. Then I play along with part of Bailey mix. Then just the raw drumming from the Bailey mix. Finally I play along with Ray Keith Terrorist and then just the raw cut of the drums. I had to synch the audio and it was difficult using Windows Movie Maker but it's not too bad.
