Many of you asked (a couple of times, lol) for this cupcake.
I used caramels to make my Mockingjay pin, here is a video where a lady uses fondant:

She uses edible gold glaze to cover her fondant and it make a nice gold colour.
You may be able to find luster dust or pearl dust online or in craft stores.
