Do you buy cat toys with cat nip in them? Be sure to buy a cheaper version, organic loose cat nip, and put it on a plate. It makes some cats have a happy time, relaxing them after a session of play! If you have trouble sleeping at night with an active cat, try cat nip before you go to bed, and play for awhile before bed, and your cat will gladly rest with you.
We love our pets, and they do this every morning, eating and drooling over each others food! Scarlett is a Keeshond, you can see her rescue friend Kiki for a second or two, and I think my question that I ask is Yes, duh Mom, I love Kitty Food!

In the winter, our cats live by the sun! If they get a lucky break, they love it and will bask in the bright sunny spot, enjoying it to its fullest. Makes you want to join them, and appreciate the little things.
We have located some mice tracks in the snow, and it looks like they are living fairly close to our home. If you have mice, is important to locate the mouse habitation areas on the outside of your home, and see if you can do some trapping there!
Snow came to us around 3pm on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 and it totaled around 3 inches of light fluffy dry snow. The best kind for shoveling! I didn't need my power shovel for this snowfall.

Do you have chipmunks? They can be hard to catch, unless you have Annabelle on the prowl. She is not a good killer, but she can catch them and scare everyone pretty good!
I try to contain them, but it doesn't always work! They are so hungry each and every meal, but especially at breakfast! Silly Keeshonden at their very best.
Annabelle is our Manx Cat, who looks like a kitten. She enjoys being outside on the patio and deck, and ventures into the yard to hunt moles...her new favorite activity. Oh, and bugs.
Our Keeshond, Scarlett is a lover of snow. Look how she loves to stand in the wind, and wait for the next round of fun weather. She is like a kid in a candy store, enjoying the waves of snow!
What a storm! Here is the storm, only after 3 hours of snowfall, and over 18 more hours are expected. We will be digging out for days, believe me! So far, the southern suburbs, where we are, have had more snow. It is going to be a very big dump of snowfall, for us here in Minnesota.
Our squirrels have completely ruined our bird feeders, but tearing them apart. They still can not get into the bird food like they would like, but they keep trying.

The boots keep our dogs feet warm, and we have used them in the yard for keeping their feet warm, or for winter walks. The great thing is, they stay on, and our dog's stay warm.
