Surrounded by the mountains of the Naukluft in the north, the Tsaris Mountains in the south and the Namib Desert in the west at the confluence of the Tsauchab River and the Zebra River lies "Hauchabfontein".
Etosha National Park is a national park situated in the Kunene Region in the northwestern Namibia. The park shares boundaries with the region of Oshana,Oshikoto,and Otjozondjupa. There are four main gates named Otjovasandu Gate,Anderson Gate,Namutoni Gate and Lindequish Gate. Etosha was first estabilished in 1907 when Namibia was still under the colonialism of Germany.
The Bushmen will eat anything that is available, both animal and vegetable.
Typical foods they might return with are mongongo nuts, baobab fruits, water roots, bitter melon, or berries. They have over 100 edible plants that they eat.
The Himba are an ethnic group of about 20,000 to 50,000 people living in northern Namibia, in the Kunene region (formerly Kaokoland). They are mostly a nomadic, pastoral people, closely related to the Herero, and speak Otjihimba, a dialect of the Herero language.
The Kwando River forms the border between east and west Caprivi, 100 km west of Katima Mulilo. It also forms the border of both the Bwabwata and Mudumu National Parks.
