Rudolph Valentino. Some of my favourite moments celebrating the magic of Rudolph Valentino and Vilma Banky....
Scenes from 'The Son Of The Sheik' and 'The Eagle'.
And so their eyes met...'Broken Blossoms' starring the beautiful Lillian Gish and the gorgeous Richard Barthelmess was the first silent movie I ever saw and ultimately, is responsible for my enduring love of the genre and my natural desire then, to discover Valentino, my great passion! I find this film as delightful and captivating today as I did at the age of 8, all those years ago. Enjoy...
Rudolph Valentino. Just a simple tribute for Rudy set to the beautiful background music 'Watermark' by Enya. All stills are from my own personal collection.
I absolutely love this film and this is one of my most favourite scenes, even more so as it features the hauntingly beautiful 'Delicate' by Damien Rice. British cinema at it's best.
Enjoy!
