Thieves targeting change room lockers at Port Coquitlam recreational facilities now have a higher chance of getting caught, thanks to a new Bait Locker program.
As of March 31, random lockers in change rooms at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre have been fitted with alarms. If the locker door is forced open, a loud repetitive beeping noise will alert staff, who will notify the police.
