Detroit Techno track using the Korg EMX-1, recorded and performed live February 13th 2007.
I am hoping to put this out on 12' vinyl LTD edition of 500 copies soon, depending on if I can raise the money, if not then it will appear on my album and as an mp3 download.
Detroit 4ever!
A movie I made in June 2003 of my 303 and 606. Just playing through a few patterns, mainly to test out the audio recording on my Sony Clie.
This used to be on my website which is no longer up so I put it here for posterity.
I was working on a Cargo Fast (band I'm in) track and it occured to me that P Lion's "Happy Children" would fit in, so I sampled a couple of lines and knocked this up. The finished version of the track will not have the P Lion samples, there are a few mistakes because I had to rush it, it was sequenced by my Yamaha RS7000, hope you enjoy it :)
One of my TB-303's, bought as a wreck and modded, just a quick demo showing some of the new sounds available, sorry about the audio quality but it gives an idea of what it can do.
Various settings on the Amdek drum synth, Amdek was a kit company owned by Roland and this drum synth is very similar to the Boss version. Also makes quite a cool dub siren :)
UPDATE - I sold the MC-808 after a short time because it has a very weak bass response and the sequencer is poor.
I did quite like the sampling and fx though.
Experimenting with the effects and loop points on a funky beat loop using an MC-808.
A short acid house clip from my studio, a quick look around reveals that none of my synths are running, so what else could be producing it?
2 Clues - it's not pre recorded and it's not from my Mac or PC
Have a guess in the comments, the answer will be revealed soon so watch this space! You might be surprised!
